Potato Patch Kids
"Relaxed gaming community with an interest in breaking games and software."
That is the Discord's own description and it holds up. We started in March 2020 and there are 277 of us now, with around 54 online at any given moment, usually in Destiny 2, Helldivers 2 or Old School RuneScape, usually doing something the developers did not plan for.
What goes on here
Breaking games is the hobby: finding what a game lets you get away with when nobody is watching, then telling everyone.

What happens when you click the button:
- The invite drops you in #welcome. Discord's onboarding has a couple of prompts to click through first.
- You can read right away. Talking takes ten minutes. That is the server's verification setting, there to keep spam bots out, and it is the only hoop.
- The invite never expires. Send it to whoever.
Relaxed is the operative word. Nobody is going to make you do a raid.

You can mess with it. Edit, then Edit Fields, lets you rewrite any text on any card. The Paint menu gives you a pencil, a spray can and an eraser. All of it saves to your browser only, and Revert to Saved puts everything back.
